Human Impact and Conservation
Human activity can shrink the variety of life — by clearing forests or polluting rivers — or protect it through conservation. Learn to judge an action by what it does to biodiversity, not by how it looks.

Kavi and the Ranger's Fence
Kavi glides over a wild reserve and spots a new fence along the beach 🏖️. "A fence? Isn't blocking animals a bad thing?" Then the ranger explains: the fence keeps cars and dogs away so the rare turtles can nest in peace 🐢. "Ohh — so the same kind of action can protect life or harm it," hoots Kavi. "To tell conservation from harmful human impact, don't just look — ask whether it helps the variety of life grow, or makes it shrink. Let's investigate!"
