Investigate: A Mini Water Cycle
Seal water in a bag, change just ONE thing, keep the rest the same — then read the pattern in your droplets, like a real scientist!

Kavi's Water-Cycle Lab
Kavi tapes a row of sealed bags of water to the window 💧. "Inside each bag the sun warms the water — it evaporates, condenses into droplets on the plastic, and collects at the bottom, just like the real water cycle!" hoots Kavi. "I want to find out — does a SUNNIER spot make MORE droplets? To find out the fair way, I change just ONE thing — how sunny the spot is — and keep everything else the SAME: same water, same bag, same days. That one changed thing is my variable. Then I count the droplets and read the pattern in my data. Let's investigate!"

Try this at home: In a fair test, how many things should you change at one time?
