Kavi Plants a Seed

Kavi pokes a tiny 🌰 seed into the soil. "Inside this little seed is a baby plant waiting to grow!" With water and warmth it sprouts into a 🌱 seedling, then a 🌸 flower, then a 🍎 fruit full of new seeds — a full circle! "Let's test what helps a plant grow, and run a fair test by changing just one thing at a time."

A peek inside

Kavi's seed has just sprouted roots and two little leaves 🌱. What stage is the plant at now?
A sprouted seed with its first leaves, reaching up to the light, is called a seedling.

Try this at home: Put the plant's life in order: flower, seed, fruit, seedling.
