The torn treasure map

Ayu finds a torn treasure map near the kampung school gate. A big mango tree is drawn on it. Wei says, 'Go left!' Ayu says, 'No, go right!' They stand on different sides of the tree. How can they guide each other to the treasure? By the end I can give directions and use the compass points on a treasure map.
