The mango stall
Ayu helps at her uncle's mango stall in the kampung. This morning the stall has 400 mangoes. A school buys 137 of them. Ayu looks at the zeros in 400. How many mangoes are left? She has hundreds, but no tens and no ones to give. By the end I can subtract up to 1000 and trade across zeros.

Line up: the 5 goes under the 9 in the ones
Ones: 9 - 5 = 4
The 8 tens and 4 hundreds stay the same
So 489 - 5 = 484 stickers left
