Kavi Measures with Cubes 🧊

Kavi found a pencil and a crayon and asked, "Which one is longer?" Looking was tricky — so Kavi lined up little same-size cubes under each one, starting right at the end. The pencil was 7 cubes long. The crayon was only 4 cubes. "7 is more than 4," said Kavi, "so the pencil is longer!" When the units are all the same size, counting them tells you how long something is.
