Kavi Calls the Race 🏁
The forest animals are racing! Kavi hoots from the finish line: "The turtle crossed first, the rabbit came second, the fox was third!" Then Kavi grins. "But if I count from the back of the line, the turtle is last. Same animals, two ways to count — let's learn position words!"

What your child will learn
1Position words, from the frontWhen things line up, each place has a position word: 1st (first), 2nd (second), 3rd (third), 4th (fourth), 5th (fifth). Start counting at the front. Tap each place to hear it.
2Ordinals follow the counting orderPosition words march in the same order as counting: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th… Each new place is one step further along. Watch the numbers light up in order — each lit number is one more position in the line.
3From the front OR from the backThe same line can be counted two ways. Tap each card to hear how. If you know the position from one end, you can work out the position from the other end.
