Browsers, URLs & Links
Internet & Networks — the browser is the app that opens the web, a URL is a page's address, and a link is a tap-shortcut to another page

Kavi Follows the Blue Words
Kavi opened the little app on the tablet and tapped the long box at the top. "This is my browser — the app that opens web pages," said Kavi. Into the box Kavi typed a web address: https://kavi.academy/learn. "That's a URL — the exact address of one page. kavi.academy is the domain, the name of the server that keeps the site, and /learn is the path to the page I want." The page opened in a tab. On it, some blue underlined words said Open the first lesson. Kavi tapped them and a new page jumped up. "I didn't type anything that time! Those words were a link — a shortcut that already holds a URL inside. Type a URL, or tap a link — either way my browser goes and fetches the page."
