Kavi Makes a Stay-Safe Poster

Kavi learned so many ways to stay safe online, and wanted to help the other owlets too. "I will make a campaign," Kavi hooted. A campaign is a way to share one message so lots of people learn it. First Kavi picked one clear message: Keep your password a secret. Next Kavi wrote a short title at the top — Secret Passwords Keep You Safe. Then Kavi added a picture of a lock to show the idea, and made the words big and easy to read. Last, Kavi shared the poster on the classroom wall. "One clear message, a title, and a matching picture — that is a stay-safe campaign!"

What your child will learn

1What goes on a stay-safe posterA campaign shares one message so lots of people learn it. A stay-safe poster holds a short title, one clear safety message, and a picture that shows the idea — then you share it. Tap each part to hear its job.
2Many words, or one clear message?A poster crammed with lots of rules and tiny words is hard to read, so the message gets lost. A strong campaign picks one clear message, uses big words, and adds a matching picture — so people notice it and remember it. Tap each card to compare.
3How to make a stay-safe campaignMaking a campaign is a little program — steps in order. Press ▶ Run and watch Kavi build a poster about keeping passwords secret.
