Spot Scams & Clickbait
Online life — recognise scams, clickbait, and unsafe links, and don't get tricked into tapping

Kavi and the "Account Locked" Message
Kavi was reading online when a message popped up: "⚠️ Your account is LOCKED! Tap this link NOW and type your password to fix it!" Kavi's wing froze. "That sounds scary — I'd better do what it says!" But Grandma Owl shook her head. "Wait, little one. A real helper never rushes you or asks for your password in a pop-up. That is a scam — a trick message made to steal money or secrets." She pointed at another box shouting "You won't BELIEVE what this owl did next!" "And that," she said, "is clickbait — a wild headline made just to make you tap. The link under it could be unsafe." Kavi tilted. "How do I stay safe?" Grandma smiled. "Slow down, spot the clues, and tell a grown-up. A message that scares, rushes, or promises too much is a message to check, not tap."
