Kavi Tells the Tale of the Little Frog
Kavi wanted to tell a story — but not just with words. "I will make a multimedia story," Kavi hooted. Multi means many, so Kavi used many kinds of media together. First Kavi wrote the words: a story about a little frog, with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Next Kavi added a picture to each part so you could see the frog hop. Then Kavi recorded a voice reading each part out loud, and added a tiny "ribbit" sound. Last, Kavi put the parts in order — beginning, middle, end — and played it through. "Words, pictures, and sound, all working together," said Kavi. "That is a multimedia story!"
