Kavi Hunts for an Answer
Kavi wanted to know, "How tall is a giraffe?" So Kavi typed a short clear word — giraffe height — into the search box. Whoosh! A whole list of results popped up! "But wait," said Kavi, "which one is true?" A clever owl doesn't just believe the first thing. Kavi checked it — read a trusted result, then asked a grown-up to be sure. "Search for it, then check it," hooted Kavi. "That's how we find real answers!"

What your child will learn
1The parts of a searchTo search is to type a word and let the computer find results. Tap each part to hear what it does.
2Trust it, or check it more? Not everything you find is true. Some results come from places we can trust; others we should check before we believe them. Tap the right box for each one.
3Which keyword finds it fastest?A good keyword is short and clear. You want to know what pandas eat. Pick the best search word in your head, then reveal to check.
