put more than one step inside a loop so each repeat does several things

📖
Kavi Draws a Square
"Watch this!" said Kavi. "To draw a square I do the same two steps again and again: walk forward, then turn." Instead of writing it four times, Kavi put both steps inside one loop: repeat 4: walk, turn. The robot walked, turned, walked, turned... and landed right back at the start! "A loop can hold more than one step," cheered Kavi. "Every repeat does them all in order."

What your child will learn
1A loop body can hold more than one stepInside the repeat we put two steps: walk, then turn. The loop does both, in order, every single time it goes around. Press Run to watch the four repeats draw a square.
2How many claps in all? When a loop body has two steps, each repeat does both. Read the loop, count carefully in your head, then reveal to check.
3Inside the loop, or just once?Steps inside the repeat happen every time it goes around. Steps outside happen only once. Tap the right box for each step of Kavi's square-drawing plan.
🔍
A peek inside
