Term 2 Review
A light recap across the term — the semicolon and colon, extra information in dashes or brackets, modal verbs for possibility, connotation, proofreading, and weighing two viewpoints, all used together

Kavi Looks Back on Term 2
"Look how much you have grown this term, clever writer!" cheered Kavi. "We learned two strong marks — the semicolon that joins two whole sentences and the colon that opens onto a list or a reason; we tucked extra information inside a pair of dashes, brackets or commas; we used modal verbs like might, must and can't to show how sure we are; we felt the connotation a word carries; we proofread for slips; and we weighed two viewpoints and asked whether a glossy claim could be proved. Today we use all of it together — let's show what we know!"
