Kavi Asks Why the Author Wrote

Kavi holds up four very different pages and grins. "Every author writes for a reason!" he hoots. "Some write to inform me with true facts, some to persuade me with feeling words, some to entertain me with a good story, and some to instruct me step by step. To spot the reason I hunt for clues — the word choice, whether it gives me facts or feelings, and the way it is laid out on the page!"
