Kavi Makes One Into Many
Kavi had one acorn, then found a whole pile! "When there is more than one, the word changes," said Kavi. "For most words I just add -s — one cat, two cats. If a word ends in a hiss (s, x, ch, sh) I add -es — one bus, two buses. And a few odd ones I just learn: one child, two children!"
