Kavi Meets the Vowels That Walk Together
Kavi saw two vowels holding wings on the branch. "When two vowels walk together, the first one does the talking," he said. "ai says /ay/ like in rain ☔, ee says /ee/ like in feet 🦶, igh says /eye/ like in light 💡, and oa says /oh/ like in boat ⛵. Say the long sound and blend all the way through — let's read them!"
