I Choose, Not the Feed
A feed or autoplay is a machine picking what you see next — it never stops on its own. You are the one who decides when to stop.

Kavi and the Never-Ending Videos
Kavi the owl watches a funny video. It ends — and whoosh, the app starts the next one all by itself! Then another, and another. "Wait," hoots Kavi, "this feed never stops — it keeps picking the next one to keep me here!" She notices she had planned to watch just two. So Kavi taps the screen off. "The feed chooses what's next," she says, "but I choose when to stop. I'm in charge, not the feed!"

Questions parents ask
+How do you teach kids to stop watching a feed or videos?
Help them see that a feed and autoplay are made to never stop — the app picks the next video by itself to keep them watching, so there is no natural end. That means the child has to be the one who decides. A simple plan works best: before you start, choose how many videos or how many minutes, and when you hit it, you stop — even if the next one looks fun. You are in charge, not the feed.
+What is autoplay and why does it keep playing?
Autoplay is when one video ends and the app starts the next one all by itself, without you pressing anything. A feed does the same by always loading more to scroll. They keep going because the app is built to pick 'what's next' and keep you watching — it will not stop on its own. Only a person can choose to stop.
+Who decides what a child sees next in an app?
The app's feed decides what to show next — a machine picks the next video or post to keep you watching. But the child always decides whether to keep going or to stop. The feed chooses the next thing; the person chooses when to stop. Knowing the difference keeps kids in charge of their own time.
