Which Is True?
Two answers, and they disagree. Only one can be true — work out which!

Kavi and the Two Answers
Two of Kavi's friends disagree. "A spider has six legs!" says one. "No — eight!" says the other. They both sound so sure! Kavi the owl does not just pick the louder one. She finds a real spider and counts: one, two… eight! "Both answers cannot be true," Kavi hoots. "When two answers disagree, don't guess who shouts loudest — check which one is true!"
What your child will learn
A peek inside
Try this at home: You get two answers and they disagree. How do you decide which is true?
Questions parents ask
+How do you work out which of two answers is true?
Check each answer against what is really true — what you know, what you can see, or a trusted source. The answer that matches the real world is the true one. The louder, faster, or more confident answer is not automatically right.
+What if both answers sound sure?
Sounding sure does not make an answer true. Two answers can both sound confident even though only one matches the real world. Compare each to the facts and let the real world decide.
+What age is this 'Which Is True?' lesson for?
It is a Stage 3 (Foundation II) lesson for roughly ages 7–8 in KAVI Academy's AI-literacy track, built around simple true-or-false facts so very little reading is needed.
+Why teach children to judge between two answers?
In the AI age, children will often meet two answers that disagree — from a friend, a website, or an AI tool. The child who can calmly check each answer against the real world keeps the power to decide for themselves.
+Is the lesson free?
Yes — this overview and the printable PDF handout are free. The full interactive lesson and the endless practice are part of KAVI Academy.
