Who Made It?
A machine did not pop up by itself. A person built it! Let's find out who made what.

Kavi Peeks Inside the Toy Box
Kavi the owl holds up a shiny toy robot 🤖. "Did this robot make itself?" Kavi wonders. "No way! Someone drew a plan, put the parts together, and switched it on. A person made it!" hoots Kavi. "A puppy 🐶 grows all by itself — but every machine has a person who built it. Let's find out who made what!"

Questions parents ask
+Did a machine make itself?
No. A machine — like a phone, a car or a robot — did not appear by itself. A person designed it and built it. Living things like a puppy or a tree grow on their own, but a machine always has a person behind it.
+Who makes robots?
People make robots. Someone draws a plan, puts the parts together, and writes the instructions that make the robot move. A robot can look clever, but a person built it — it did not build itself.
+Why teach kids that people make machines?
Knowing that a person builds every machine is a first step in AI literacy. It helps children understand that a machine is a made thing with people behind it — not a living, thinking creature.
