I Think First
Make your own idea first. Then a tool can help. That is the AI-second habit!

Kavi Tries First
Kavi the owl gets a riddle. "Let me think first!" hoots Kavi, tapping a wing on her head. She makes her own guess — then she asks a tool to check it. "My brain goes first, the tool comes second," smiles Kavi. "That is the AI-second habit. Let's practise thinking first!"

Questions parents ask
+What is the AI-second habit?
It means you make your own idea first, and only then ask a tool to help or check. Your brain goes first; the tool comes second. This keeps your thinking strong.
+Why should kids think first before using a tool?
Trying first helps your brain grow and helps you spot when a tool gives a silly answer. If you always ask the tool first, you never practise your own thinking.
+Is it bad to use an AI tool?
No. Tools are helpful. The habit is about order: think first, then use the tool to help or check your idea — not instead of your idea.
+What age is this 'I Think First' lesson for?
It is a Stage 2 lesson for roughly ages 6–7 in KAVI Academy's AI-literacy track. It uses a story and tap games, with very little reading.
+Is the lesson free?
Yes — this overview and the printable PDF handout are free. The full interactive lesson and endless practice are part of KAVI Academy.
